Gonorrhea mRNA vaccines

Our lab is also interested in leveraging our expertise in RNA to solve real-world problems. We have been collaborating with Dr. Sanjay Ram’s lab (https://profiles.umassmed.edu/display/133603) in the Department of Medicine (https://www.umassmed.edu/medicine/) to develop an mRNA vaccine against the multidrug-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae (the bacteria that cause gonorrhea).
