Welcome to the Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship. We are a three-year, ACGME-accredited training program with a reputation for producing outstanding cardiologists. Our division comprises more than 30 faculty members, each of whom has a strong interest in medical education. Fellows benefit from UMass Memorial Medical Center’s high patient and procedural volume. We offer rigorous training in a supportive, collegial environment. We are committed to recruiting talented trainees who will contribute to the academic, clinical, and professional excellence of our fellowship program.

Fellowship Opportunity at UMass Chan!

We’re now accepting applications for the 2026 – 2027 Structural Heart Disease Fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School! This is a 1-year, non-ACGME-accredited fellowship designed to provide advanced training in structural heart interventions.

Eligibility Requirements:
 ABIM-certified in Cardiovascular Disease
 Completion of an ACGME-accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship by June 2025
 Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Massachusetts
 U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, or H1 visa holders

Highlights:

  • Echocardiography and nuclear cardiology training that easily satisfies the requirements for certification by the National Board of Echocardiography (NBE) and Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC)

  • Experience in advanced imaging (MRI/CT) 

  • Ambulatory experience including in specialty clinics such as adult congenital, pregnancy, and pulmonary hypertension
