Loretta Opoku is Program Coordinator for the Faculty Mentorship Program at UMass Chan Medical School. She supports the development and delivery of mentorship initiatives that help faculty build meaningful professional relationships, strengthen mentoring skills, and advance their career goals. Her work includes coordinating program activities, managing communications, supporting workshops and events, and collaborating with faculty and institutional partners to ensure a positive participant experience.

In addition to her role with this Faculty mentorship program, Loretta works in the Office of Health Equity, where she coordinates faculty and workforce development programs and supports initiatives focused on recruitment, professional development, and inclusive excellence. She brings experience in program administration, communications, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement across higher education, nonprofit, and media settings.

Loretta just loves to see things work. She enjoys creating organized, efficient processes that help programs thrive and support the success of the people they serve.
