Holly Dupuis, MD |
Dr. Dupuis is an emergency medicine physician and current medical education fellow. She previously served as chief resident of the emergency medicine residency program at UMass. Her academic interests include medical education, residency program leadership, resident wellness, and mentorship. |
Danielle Sultan, MD |
Originally from Chelmsford, Massachusetts, Dr. Sultan's early years were dedicated to balancing normal childhood and competitive figure skating. She transitioned to focusing on academics at the age of 14 and ultimately pursued a Bachelors in Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Dr. Sultan earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from the University of New England in 2020 and completed residency training in Emergency Medicine in the Spring of 2024 from Lehigh Valley Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with a focus on critical care and medical education. During residency, she harvested a passion for medical education, finding fulfillment in guiding and celebrating the achievements of her learners and was honored to receive an award for Educational Excellence in teaching. While her focus has been undergraduate medical education, through mentoring, advising, and teaching, she is equally interested in exploring graduate medical education opportunities such as individualized education plans, resident remediation, resident assessment, and residency leadership. Dr. Sultan's research interests include the assessment of entrustable professional acts of medical students, resident education and its effect of reducing unnecessary lab work, and resident assessment of oral boards preparation.
