The pilot program is expected to impact up to 600 area residents in 13 communities, including Worcester.  

Eleven teams of medical students, faculty members, residents and staff are the recipients of the 2025 Remillard Family Community Service Fund grants.

The lecture is part of a new education and research program funded through a $200,000 gift from the Last Call Foundation to UMass Chan.

A group of UMass Chan Medical School students and staff members spent their Saturday morning instructing a hands-only CPR and AED training for nearly 50 parishioners at St. Anne Church in Southborough.

The Remillard Family Community Service Fund awarded grants to support innovative projects led by UMass Chan Medical School faculty, residents, staff and students that address social determinants of health, increase equitable and affordable access to care, and develop and expand community outreach programs.

The annual awards are sponsored by the Office of Faculty Affairs and the Women’s Faculty Committee of the Diversity and Inclusion Office.  

Water Safe Worcester’s summer session is underway every Wednesday night through the end of August. The program is free and open to all teenagers in the Worcester area.

The student-run group provides forensic medical evaluations for Worcester-area immigration lawyers who are advocating for people to claim asylum in the United States by connecting them with local affiliated clinicians.
