GraphPad Prism

GraphPad Prism combines scientific graphing, comprehensive curve fitting, understandable statistics, and data organization. GraphPad Prism was originally designed for experimental biologists in medical schools and drug companies. Prism is now used more broadly by all kinds of biologists and physical scientists. 

In order to provide Prism to the campus at a reasonable price, Information Technology has purchased a discounted group license from GraphPad, and campus users will be billed $50 for each Prism activation. Please note: the Prism license agreement requires installation and activation on each physical computer from which the software is used.  The licenses may not be used as part of a concurrent, network, virtual/virtual desktop, Citrix, or floating license set up.

In order to transfer a license from one system to another you must contact us at Graphpad_Prism@umassmed.edu prior to activating the new system and inform us of your need to transfer. You do not need this request form for a transfer.

GraphPad can be installed on both Mac and Windows based computers. The licenses may not be used on a virtual machine or virtual desktop.

The Current UMass Chan Group licenses have been extended through May 31, 2023. In order to maintain access to GraphPad, you will need to submit a formal request form, which will be available HERE on Wednesday (June 8th) evening after 5:00pm. Those who do not submit their license information by July 1, 2022 will have their GraphPad service interrupted.
