What is it?

The UMass Chan Cancer Research Team is MCCB's fundraising team for the annual UMass Cancer Walk. Every year, MCCB faculty, students, postdoctoral researchers and staff—along with our families and friends—join together to raise funds and take part in the UMass Cancer Walk to advance cancer research.

How are the funds used?

100% of funds raised support adult and pediatric cancer research and care, and clinical trials of new potentially lifesaving therapies taking place at UMass Chan Medical School.

    UMass Chan Medical School scientists Marcus Ruscetti, PhD, and Prabhani Atukorale, PhD, have developed a new, dual immunotherapy approach that may potentially change the way clinicians treat pancreatic cancer.
