Dr. O’Connor joins the Department of Medicine from Saint Vincent Medical Group/Saint Vincent Hospital in Sterling, Massachusetts. He earned his MD from UMass Chan Medical School. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Rhode Island Hospital/Miriam Hospital/Providence VA Medical Center, Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. O’Connor additionally completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at UMass Chan Medical School.

In her new role at UMMH, Dr. Lee will see patients at the University and Memorial campuses.
Dr. Lee earned her MD from Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, where she also completed her internal medicine residency. She completed an additional internal medicine residency at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, Massachusetts, and a nephrology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Brigham Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Dr. Matta also completed a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and a postdoctoral research fellowship at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in Lebanon.
