Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders 

Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center Our center provides specialty care for patients with movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, Huntington's disease, tremors, tics, and Tourette's syndrome. UMass Chan Medical School is developing a gene therapy for Parkinson’s disease, and our movement disorder lab is exploring how a patient’s voice could predict risk for Parkinson's. Other movement disorder research includes examining functional brain circuitry connectomes in epilepsy, and the Huntington's disease specialty care center.
