2025 Dr. Balikian "Go the Extra Mile Award"

Created in 2017, and supported by a permanent endowment, the award recognizes one resident per year who continually goes the extra mile in their job. Selected by radiology faculty and residents, the winner of this award goes to an exceptional individual who has gone above and beyond to support their co-residents and demonstrate outstanding patient care and communication skills, always doing the extra things (like taking extra call, reading extra studies, etc), and displaying good citizenship toward their fellow colleagues. The Award is a plaque and $1000.
