Radiology at Milford Regional Medical Center

Greetings from ‘UMass Memorial Health at Milford’. Since the beginning of this calendar year radiology at Milford has undergone rapid changes to adapt to being part of a new system. Our current cohort includes Joe Ferrucci III, Edgar Casado, Sukjin Koh, Jeffrey Brooks, Mark Masciocchi and now Nicholas Martin. We are so excited to have Nick officially with us. Several more additions will be coming over the summer and into the fall to help us adapt to an ever-growing system. We recently were able to import UMass Memorial’s model of ED avoidance fast-track imaging for improving same day scheduling for urgent cases in order to avoid patients being sent directly to a very busy ED. We also have been adapting our CT and MRI policies/procedures to be in line with UMass to help foster more uniformity across the system in preparation for full integration next spring when we will all be on the same PACS and Epic. We’re looking forward to joining the UMass Radiology family and hoping to start meeting you all in person.
