Our Mission
The Mission of the Mouse Behavioral Core Facility is to facilitate research in the neurosciences by providing the facilities, equipment, and training necessary to characterize behavior in wild-type and genetically modified mice. The Core emphasizes tests appropriate for characterizing models of neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental diseases, and assessing the efficacy of treatments. We will develop a wider variety of behavioral tests over time, in response to investigator needs. The Core currently provides consultation and trains research staff to perform behavioral testing and analysis. In the future, we anticipate also providing data collection and analysis services.
