Andrew graduated from Columbia University in 2022 with a degree in Biology. After graduation, he worked as a lab technician/manager in Alison Taylor’s laboratory at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he used CRISPR to model aneuploidy in cancer cell lines. Andrew’s graduate work is focused on leveraging prime editing tools for large genomic insertions and developing AI methods to study programmed ribosomal frameshifting. If you ever catch him outside of the lab, he’s probably grilling and/or fishing with friends and family.
