Diabetes Sick Day Rules and Testing for Ketones

Being ill can mean simply not feeling well (a common cold), being very sick (fever and vomiting), contracting an infection (such as strep throat), undergoing surgical procedures (like wisdom teeth extraction), or suffering from serious injuries (broken bones, etc.).
