Below is a list of the Selected GHP Sites for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. Additional information will be provided at the GHP Introduction Sessions which will provide an opportunity for interested students to learn more about these sites from UMass Chan faculty and students.
Kenya

- Projects: KEMRI - research -- anti-malarial immunity to naturally acquired infections in children; endemic Burkitt lymphoma; JOOTRH - other field and hospital-based projects, clinical shadowing

- Projects: shadowing in neurology clinic at CAM, clinic-based research project, screening for parkinsonism
- Advisor: Dr. Apeksha Tripathi (Family Medicine)
- Site: GSMC/KEM Hospital in Mumbai, India
- Project: A 4 week summer immersion experience at GSMC/KEM Hospital in Mumbai, that will include shadowing in various disciplines and opportunity to create your own project.

- Project: Work with Dr. Lisse’s NGO, Bridges to Malawi, on a community development project and shadowing in local clinics in Malawy
- Bridges to Malawi – Our Bridge to Improve the Lives of Rural Malawi Families
- Advisor: Dr. Don Hangen (Orthopedics)
- Site: Blantyre in Southern Malawi
- Project: Under mentorship of Dr. Hangen, students will assess and contribute to capacity building in the surgical program in Blantyre, Malawi.

Vietnam
