The education subcommittee, co-led by Lauren Shumate and Sarah Lee, seeks to ensure our institution is capable of, through the proper knowledge and skillsets, doing all its strategic work from a diversity, equity and inclusion lens. Over the past year, the education subcommittee worked on:

• Creating an Admissions/Holistic Review process that includes a URiM adjacent variable literature review
  
  
• Creating a DEI Continuing Education process which will include an anti-racism challenge and a CME guide for revising curriculum
  
  
• Ideas around curriculum improvement which will include an Antiracism curricular integration and DEI facilitator development
